Depending on the technical characteristics of the product, Bellitalia® uses laminated or solid conifer wood. Conifer wood is always supplied with a water-based pigmented finish treatment. On request, conifer wood is also available with FSC certification.
OKUMÉ
Depending on the technical characteristics of the product, Bellitalia® uses multilayer or solid Okoumè wood. Okoumè wood is always supplied with a a water-based pigmented finishing treatment, and upon request, on specific items, green and red color are available. To find out the type of wood used for each product, consult the relevant page in our catalogue.
N.B. Wood is a natural material, and as such, its appearance can change naturally over time. This is mainly as a result of:
– a natural tendency to become greyer. This can be more or less marked and/or rapid depending on the type of wood and/or the environmental characteristics of the place in which the product is installed
– a natural tendency to develop cracks and fissures due to volume changes caused by climatic/environmental variations at the place the product is installed.
These characteristics are thus to be considered typical and do not constitute a product defect. However, please remember that adequate and frequent maintenance of wooden products specific to the type of wood chosen and the environmental conditions of the place in which it is installed help to preserve their quality and longevity by slowing down natural ageing of the material.
